About Dr. Raji Samuel
Dr. Raji Samuel is a general dentist with more than 20 years of experience caring for patients in clinical and hospital settings. She founded Spectra Dental Care to improve access to safe, compassionate dental care for patients who may need individualized support.
As the mother of a daughter with autism, Dr. Samuel has a personal understanding of the different ways people may communicate, respond to care, and experience the healthcare system. She recognizes the responsibility that comes with the trust families and caregivers place in those caring for the patient.
Her approach begins with listening carefully to the patient, family, caregivers, and referring clinicians. She considers the patient’s dental and medical needs, communication preferences, previous healthcare experiences, and the support that may help care proceed safely and respectfully.
